I saw that episode a long time ago and I’ve always noticed how rude Patrick can be towards SpongeBob. Specially in the episode where he ate SpongeBob’s chocolate then lied to spongebob and said accused HIM of eating his chocolate, basically gaslighting him . I don’t know why the producers think that making Patrick rude = funny tbh . Thats what made me hate Patrick most of the time. Patrick does not deserve to be SpongeBob’s friend , thats for sure.

definitely sucks but at least it is somewhat coherent with story and dialogue unlike ink lemon aide which resembles jingling keys at a baby more than a actual tv episode

I thought One Coarse Meal and A Pal For Gary are the most hated episodes. I don’t think this episode is AS unlikable. It’s still one of the worst episodes of Spongebob, and Number 18 on my bottom 20 beaten by a few other Patrick’s A Pr*** Episodes.

Security system TAKES CONTROL OF SQUIDWARD'S HOUSE and begins ATTACKING THE CITY. Leaving the mayor to give Squidward community service for the damage he caused. EVEN THOUGH Spongebob and Patrick were in his house the WHOLE FUCKING TIME, and were responsible for EVERYTHING! GAAH! FUCK THIS EPISODE! this episode is when the Squidward torture porn started to become a regular stable in Spongebob's episodes and this one is one of the meanest, cruelest, and just plain unfair of them all. all Squidward wanted to do is enjoy one day to himself. but that can NEVER HAPPEN when he lives next to Spongebob and Patrick. can it.

The only time the episode is genuinely funny to me is right after Sandy tries to mediate for them. Spongebob and Patrick having the agreement about communication being key to friendship, with them going right back to fighting after seeing the toy is a kinda funny setup into spongebob's hilarious "war cry."

If they were deliberately trying to make Patrick hatable, that'd be one thing, but you're actually supposed to think this is endearing. There's cute and happy stupid characters and then there's just anti-social being an absolute bastard stupid.

Even as a young kid who didn't know anything about anything, I could tell that this episode was just bad. Patrick's character can be so deep and that was evident in early SpongeBob seasons. In these newer seasons however, Patrick is only one of two things: A compete idiot or a bad friend and neither of these are even remotely good.

Yeah, Patrick definitely owed SpongeBob an apology by the end of the video. I think it would have been okay for Patrick to act selfishly and disrespectfully as long as he somehow learned the error of his ways and reconciled. That not happening is what the real problem here is.

The Secret Box: I've always remembered not being shown the photo. I remember always being upset not being able to see it Your Shoe's Untied: - Too small of a detail to remember Clams: - I always remembered Spongebob getting hit before he says the number, exactly how it is shown Movie: - I VAGUELY remember it being a white V shape, but then once I saw the peanut shape, it clicked. But, I do find it odd how many people dont remember a peanut guitar. I feel like everyone would remember that detail, but I felt like I remembered every detail besides that Training Video: - Always remembered it how it is shown. I did ask my older cousin about this, and he remembers it being "And the secret formula iiiiissssss...." then getting cut off. He claims they showed it a few times when it was new, but have since changed it to the quick cut (He is early 30s) Pickles: - Remembered as shown Atlantis: (this is when I started to stop watching Spongebob, so I only saw this a few times) But I remember Mr. Krabs saying, "I'm Eugene, and I LOVE money. Arg arg arg." But then it clicked and I was remembering when Spongebob was dressed as Mr. Krabs at the convention. He says it there. - For the last Atlantis one, I dont remenber.

the saddest part of this is that sharing food with your friend is a completely normal thing to do. The episode paints it like it's some kind of slippery slope, but irl you do this all the time (usually with the promise that they'll pay you back at some point, even if they never do).

Also a pal for Gary was a STUPID episode I LOVED The TOY STORE OF DOOM
